Every photo you take carries a hidden block of data called EXIF, and most people never see it. Tucked inside the file, alongside the pixels, sits a record of the camera or phone make and model, the exact date and time the shot was taken, the shutter and exposure settings, and, on most phones, the precise GPS latitude and longitude of where you were standing. This tool exists to make that invisible information visible first, and then to remove it.
