How CGPA Converts to Percentage and Why the Formula Depends on Your University

The catch that trips up almost everyone is that there is no single universal formula: CBSE, VTU, Anna University, Mumbai University, Pune University and others each publish their own conversion, and using the wrong one can shift your result by several percent, which matters at a placement cutoff.
